This Wutthakat House located in Bann Klang Muang Sathon – Taksin2 village. This area called Wutthakat, there is one of Bangkok Old Town area. We provide interesting walking maps of old town area for you on our website, so you can explore the fantastic of Bangkok by yourself. From Wutthakat House, you can easily travel to the heart of central business district such as Sathon, Silom, Rama 4, Ratchadamri, Siam and Sukhumvit area by using BTS. Or if you want to travel to the famous land mark of the world such as The Grand Palace and all popular destinations at the center of Bangkok old town. There are not far from here. Just grab MRT and go to discovery the famous things.

Hang out along the riverside is one of the famous activity of this area. There are many interesting places along Chao Phraya river such as ICONSIAM, Terminal 21 Rama 3, many restaurants and bars with good atmosphere that waiting you to relax and enjoy the best scenery of Chao Phraya river.

From BTS Wutthakat station to this house

Walk way from BTS – (follow orange line) You can walk from BTS Wutthakat station exit 2. Walk straight until see Aspire sign and Family Mart minimart on your left hand side then turn left. Walk along the way, you will pass 2 roundabouts. After you pass the 2nd roundabout, you will see my compound. Turn left and walk straight until you see the garden then turn right, you will pass the main building that swimming pool located there. Then you will see the junction, notice No.8 infront of the alley, walk straight. You will see the house on your left hand side, the 3rd house from the last house of this alley. house no. is 99/127
*Please note that this way is one way for car that wnat to going out to Sathon road, so if you use taxi you must use the main entrance to get in.

Taxi from BTS – (follow purple line) You can hire taxi from BTS Wutthakat station exit 2 to this house. Tell them to go to “Bann Klang Muang Song” or show them this word “ไป บ้านกลางเมืองสาทร-ตากสิน2”. They have to drive along the left side, pass Aspire sign, then take most left on the curve of the main road. **Beware if they keep right will take you cross the bridge, that is the wrong way. Notice the giant yellow gate on your left hand that is the main entrance. Tell the security guard to go to house no. 99/127 they will let you in and give a paper card to driver. Go straight, looking on your right hand side until you see No.8 in front of the alley then turn right. You will see the house on your left hand side, the 3rd house from the last house of this alley.
***Please give a stamp for the driver on his white paper card otherwise the security guard will not let him out. I will put it in the box on a shoes cabinet.

From this house to BTS Wutthakat station

  1. Walking – you can walk from your house to BTS Wutthakat station about 15 mins depends on your walking speed.
  2. Taxi (car or motorbike) – you can use Grab mobile application to book a taxi to pick up you in front of the house.
  3. Shuttle van – This compound has shuttle van service to BTS Wutthakat station or MRT Bang Wa station, 20 baht/time/person. it will take about 7-10 mins depends on the traffic but not over than 10 mins for sure. *Please note that this service is close on weekend and public holiday. I attach the shuttle van timetable below. The van is parking near club house.

  • Family Mart : a mini mart open 24/7. You can find frozen meal and some ingredient for cooking such as some fresh meat, egg and vegetables here.
  • Jim Burger : a famous burger restaurant serve many kind of burger, beverage and beer.
  • Beauty salon : located on 2nd floor of this mini community mall.
  • Massage : located on 2nd floor of this mini community mall.

  • Family Mart (24 hrs.) : a mini mart open 24/7 located at mini community mall in front of the village.

  • The Mall Department store : located at BTS Talat Phlu station, just 1 stop from Wutthakat station. This department store has many shops, most of everything you can find here even bookstores, restaurants, cosmetics, key maker, shoes fixer, name card shop, True shop (for internet and mobile service), ID photo shop, banks, hair cut, clothes, kitchen ware, living product, electric appliances etc. It also has theaters, too. Looking for Home Fresh Mart super market on G floor, here is where you can find fresh bakery, foods, fruits, veggies, meats and ingredients for cooking.
  • Makro Food Service : located down the road, Kalapaphruek. Mostly service are foods as their name. You can find cheap food and some kitchen ware here. To get there by Taxi just 5 minuets from this compound.

Home living product, fixing tools and decoration

  • HomePro : located down the road, Kalapaphruek across Gumnone – Man junction. To get there by Taxi just 7 minuets from this compound.

Drugstore

  • Baankapaoys : located at 2nd floor of the shop building in front of Tempo Grand condominium. Open daily workday 5pm-10pm, weekend 2pm-10pm.
  • Drug store at The Mall Department store : located at BTS Talat Phlu station, just 1 stop from Wutthakat station. Drug store is located on G floor. Open daily.
  • Boots Saladang Branch (24 hrs.) : located at BTS Saladang station. In case you have urgent case that need to buy a drug at night, grab a Taxi to get there will not use much time at late night (just 10-15 mins).

Hospital

  • Phyathai 3 Hospital : one of the big chain hospital in Thailand. You can get there by BTS just 2 stations from Wutthakat station (located at BTS Bangpai station) or Taxi just 10 minuets from this compound.
  • Samitivej Hospital Thonburi : one of another big chain hospital in Thailand. You can get there by Taxi just 12+ minuets from this compound base on traffic.
  • Bangkok Christian Hospital : located at BTS Saladang station. It will be convenient for you if you work in town.

  • ICONSIAM : The iconic large shopping mall on the banks of Chao Phraya river. Open everyday 10.00 am. – 10.00 pm. Here you can find numerous of premium restaurants, coffee shops, bars and premium brand name shops. The restaurants that located on the riverside also have outdoor space so you can enjoy your meal with the full scenery of Chao Phraya river. Siam Takashimaya, most famous Japanese department store and Apple Store also located here, too. It has both ordinary theaters and special theaters such as a Digital 4DX and a luxury First Class. Don’t miss The ICONIC Multimedia Water Feature, most amazing fountain show in Bangkok. They show everyday, 4 times per day at 4 pm, 6.30 pm, 8 pm and 9.30 pm.

  • The Jam Factory : Is a creative district where collected a café, a homeware design store, a bookshop, a art gallery, restaurants and a office all in one place. If you fancy to try Thai food with stylish, we recommend Never Ending Summer restaurant. A little bit expensive but worth to try once for special occasion.   • Lhong 1919 : A historical port and warehouse in Siheyuan style (Chinese courtyard architecture). There are eateries, café, photography spots, art and craft shops, co-working space, Learning center about Chinese relations history and resting place with good atmosphere along the river. By taking BTS just 4 stop from Wutthakat station to BTS Krung Thon Buri station and take a Taxi, Took Took (3 wheels), motorbike to get there or take the blue flag express boat from ICONSIAM pier for 150 THB, so you can hop on, hop off many time you want in one day at the tourist attractions along Chao Phraya river. Chatuchak Market

  • Chatuchak Market : Is indoor and outdoor market, Also known as JJ Market was reached a landmark status as a must-visit place for tourists. A huge market about 35 acres, with 27 sections in all, Many shops more than 10,000 shops and stalls offering a wide range of products from Thai handicrafts, handmade products, clothing, accessories, arts and painting, house decorations, households, souvenirs and gifts, pets, plants and book. The heaven for shopaholics!! Opening Hours; Tuesdays – Thursdays for Plants & gardens. Fridays for Wholesale night market Saturdays – Sundays for all areas are opened. If you want to enjoy shopping, I recommend you to go there on Saturdays and Sundays 9.00 am. – 6.00 pm. You can get there by take BTS from Wutthakat station to Bang Wa station then change to MRT from Bang Wa station to Tha Phra station. *At Tha Phra station, get out of the train at terminal 1 and change to the train at terminal 2 (upstair) to go to Kamphaeng Phet station where Chatuchak Market is located.

Asiatique The River front

  • Asiatique The River front : For whom who want to enjoy night shopping and eating, Asiatique will be a fancy choice for you. It opens daily from 4.00 pm. to midnight. It has free shuttle boats from Sathorn Pier to Asiatique Pier (round trip), their services start from 4.00 pm. to 11.30 pm. You have to follow Asiatique sign at the pier for free shuttle boats if not you will get paid. If you shop until late night, you can get back to our house by taxi or Grab.The service hours of Asiatique Sky (the giant ferris wheel at Asiatique)

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Wat Leng Noei Yi)
and Chaina Town

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, previously known as Wat Leng Noei Yi, is the largest and most important Chinese Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand. It hosts celebrations of a number of year-round events, including Chinese New Year, and the annual Chinese vegetarian festival. You can get there by taking BTS from Wutthakat station to Bang Wa station (just 1 stop) then change to MRT from Bang Wa station to Wat Mangkon station (6 stops) and take exit 3. You can also go to China Town by walking from there.

– This ticket is valid for a single journey, with fare according to chosen destination. (starting at 16 Baht, up to 44 Baht per journey
– Valid for travel on date of purchase only.
– Ticket will be retained at an Automatic Gate upon exit.
– Single Journey Tickets can be purchased at any Ticket Issuing Machine (TIM), Integrated Ticketing Machine (ITM) and Ticket Vending Machine (TVM).

Time Limited for staying in the Paid Area : 120 minutes

2. One-Day Pass
Price 140 Baht 
– Valid for unlimited rides on the date of issue or registration only.
– Non-refundable
– Available at all BTS Ticket Offices.

 

3. Rabbit Card


Add Stored Value
– Add minimum value of 100 Baht, up to a maximum value which can be stored of 4,000 Baht.
– In the case of passengers travelling on the BTS SkyTrain System between the original 25 stations, the fare collection system will deduct fare according to the published Fare Table.
– In the case of passengers entering and exiting in the Sukumvit Line Extension between Bang Chak, Punnawithi, Udom Suk, Bang na, Bearing and Samrong Stations or Silom Line Extension between Pho Nimit, Talat Phlu, Wutthakat and Bang Wa Stations, the fare collection system will deduct a further flat fare of of 10 or 15 Baht per trip (depending on type of ticket or pass used).
– Added value is valid for 2 years from date of last transaction. Within the validity period (5 years), if there is the value top up, the value in the card will be automatically extended

Add 30 days trips
– Trips can be used for unlimited travel distance for the number of trips specified (Except on the Sukumvit and Silom Line Extension).
– Trips on a rabbit card are valid for 30 days from date of first use.
– Cards should be used within 45 days from date of issue or trips last refilled, after which any remaining trips will be automatically cancelled. New trips must then be aaded to validate a card for further travel. Trips are non-refundable.
– Cards within validity period may be refilled with trips upon promotion as specified by the Company.

Drive inbound

Drive inbound to Sathorn or Silom from here is easy. Just take the exit at Aspire Condominium where Family Mart minimart take place then keep left to cross the bridge and make a U-turn, that’s all. If you use taxi, please show him the map for taxi in Thai version below.
