Wat Mahannapharam Worawiharn is located opposite on the right of Central Old Town Cottage inn.
This temple was built in 1850 A.D. It has 2 chapels located together. In the right chapel have a Statue of Buddha from Sukhothai province called “Phra Ruang Thong Kum”. “Thong Kum” in Thai means gold. Because it was made from 60% gold. Experts assume that it was built around 1249 A.D., once Sukhothai was the capital city.
