TAXI

In Thailand you can call taxi in 2 ways.

1. Waiting at pavement and call taxi that drive pass. This is easy way but they usually reject passengers. You maybe can’t manage your time and can’t reach your destination on time. If you use this kind of taxi, don’t forget insist they use the meter by saying this word “Perd Meter Duai”

2. Grab mobile app. This app look like Uber app. We prefer this way because it’s easy and convenience for you to manage your time and price per trip.

TUK TUK (3 wheelers)

Tuk Tuk is one of the Thailand famous symbol. You might be want to try once. What I will tell you is please use with caution. Because they have no meter, so you have to bargain for the reasonable price.

Beware – Some Tuk Tuk driver who scam tourists claiming to offer cheap, government-sponsored, but instead take you to shady jewelry shops or tailors. Some might overcharge tourists, so you have to use your bargain skill.

Motorbike

As most traveller know traffic in Thailand is very bad in rush hour. Motorbike can solve this problem. You can call them at the motorbike stop point (notice that they wear orange vest with big number on back) or use Grab mobile app to call them in same way as call taxi. And for your safety please wear a helmet while traveling.
